The latest 1.4 version of the PopoloCrois translation is out. Mostly text overhauls related to ensuring the series' consistency. You can grab it here.
P.S. Hopefully, more to follow in this (and maybe others) directions.
P.P.S. The 1.4 was updated with some changes to fix misspellings and glitches.
When I was still a little kid, this was one of the first fantasy books I ever read, and since it had never been (and still is not) released in my home country, this was also one of the first books I read in English. This was one of the side projects I kept doing during frequent blackouts. No idea whether I will continue it from those 7 or so chapters I have done so far, but oh well. Mayhaps someone will find it interesting.
Yep, here goes another release of another obscure Japanese tactical adventure role-playing game - that's how I would call it - for PlayStation. Comparing to Ecsaform, this one is several grades below the level of quality and gameplay, but it has its perks and funny stuff so enjoy!
You can find the translation patch here.
And complete manual in English here.
After having done the March of the Black Queen, we eventually got down to bringing this down as well. What initially looked like a simple PS1 translation hack-in ended up with the total rehaul of the game text and importing PSP version (the best one currently available) and making it compliant with the game lore as well as our "uncensored parts" of the Black Queen. For those dumping their image from the original game - I highly recommend the clone cd format due to the way the game stores and plays the musical tracks.
You can grab the translation here.
Just another small hotfix - the World Map glitch fixed. Kudoz to Drops Mega-Mega for the report!
v.1.2 is here.
Just a hot fix update for the recent PopoloCrois patch.
The changes include:
- Original palette in anime cuts restored (color saturation).
- Cursor position and game freezes after data saves in the Debugger Menu fixed.
- Game freezes on Gotlief-Parcella cartrail dialogue fixed.
- Game launch for older BIOS fixed (now working on SCPH-1000, real hardware).
- Sound volume for the Narrator's cutscenes increased.
- Spaces in characters' names on Level Up removed (Gon, Don and Kai).
You can grab v.1.1 here.
Well, it's finally happening. Years of plans, months of work. The game that brought me into the scene in the very first place. Go buy the Japanese version of ebay or something. It's bloody worth it.
Grab the Patch here.
And the Manual is here.
PS: paul_met, Pennywise, Matatabi, Illidan et.al. Personal thanks, guys, it wouldn't have happened without you all.
Yet another hotfix update for this chapter of the Ogre Battle saga.

- Changed the name of the sword "Karanborg" to "Caladbolg";
- Formatted text in some dialogue.

This patch contains a bunch of hotfixes based on the early feedback we've received so far. Here is an extract from the readme file:
- Added the ability to skip the difficulty selection menu (hold the "A" or "B" buttons respectively on the Sega Saturn logo screen);
- Fixed "black screen" after saving in battle;
- Default flat map mode when loading a save in battle;
- Formatted text in the shop dialog;
- Fixed line wrapping in the current squad window (movement type);
- Expanded the window with the list of recruits in cities;
- Fixed incorrectly displayed character names.
You can grab the newest patch here.
This project which was supposed to have been a simple port from PS1 turned out to be so much more. New features added, additional scenarios translated. The text is mostly retranslated and brought into conformity with the series' canon. Oh, yeah, religious censorship removed. Another pleasant cooperation with Pennywise and paul_met as usual. See the readme file for details.
The patch has been recently updated to Ver. 1.3.1 you can grab here.
Just a small update to the current Brave Prove patch with a couple of misspellings and grammar mistakes fixed. You can grab it here.
This patch is supposed to fix a bunch of minor misspellings, fix the Gerard's levelling bug and add the requested memory cart switch-off feature. See the readme file for more information. You can grab the latest patch here.
Heya. Just to mention that the translation patch for the Sega Saturn version of the one of the best TRPGs is released. I was only partly involved in this project mostly produced by my friends paul_met and Pennywise. The game has several changes from the PSX version, including additional spells and maps. See the readme for details and do buy the game - it's worth it.
You can grab the latest patch here.
Well, yeah, this was an unexpected both project and release. An absolutely hardcore TRPG for Sega Saturn back from 1998. Save is your best friend. If you're braindead, that is. Enjoy and buy the original game!
Oh, yeah, the patch is here.
And the Manual is here.
PS: The game's picky with emu and prob only the latest mednafen is able to emulate it properly. As for original hardware - all smooth (Clone CD still does wonders).
PPS: Patch upgraded to v.1.2 version.
